College Blog – Autumn 2

We have had another really successful half term leading up to Christmas here at the College. Some of the students have had the opportunity to spread Christmas cheer at their work experience placements including games for some of the residents at Grange Lea Care home, helping at Marldon Christmas Tree Farm and setting up Christmas displays at the Rare Breeds Centre in Totnes.

Our Christmas Market was an enormous success. We raised £1,000 on the day and more money is coming in. We would like to thank all the local businesses  that donated to our raffle and all our parents for attending the event. The enterprise teams work incredibly hard throughout the year making Christmas trees, plaques and wreaths which all added to the wonderful total.

A special thank you to Marldon Community choir for singing so beautifully yet again. They add to the atmosphere of the day and are always well received by students and parents alike.

We would like to take the opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
