A few weeks ago pupils from Chestnut enjoyed their residential trip to Grenville House in Brixham. Overlooking the harbour, it was a great location for their active adventure! They stayed for two nights in the house, enjoying being with their friends in the evenings and resting after the jam packed days.
The pupils all had a great time doing the activities on offer. On one of the days they tackled the high wires and took it in turns to fly through the air in harnesses. They then headed off to the Quarry where they took part in an abseil, which really did require a head for heights!
On another day, the pupils headed to the harbour for various water sports. There was canoeing, rafting and paddle boarding – some had better balance than others and ended up in the water!
It really was a fantastic time for all involved.
