Residential Trip – Surrey 2019

What an amazing few days classes 12 and 16 had for their residential trip!

They started their journey on Wednesday, heading up to Longleat Safari Park where they fed the deer, watched lions and wolves and even got lost in the maze! After this they travelled on to Surrey to stay in the Youth Hostel.

On Thursday they headed off for a lovely country walk before enjoying a 3 course lunch at the Harvester in Watford. The afternoon brought the highlight of their trip – Harry Potter World. There are no words to describe how excited they were to be there! Everyone agreed that the 4 hour tour was fantastic.

On Friday, they packed up and headed to Thorpe Park for the day. Some were braver than others, going on roller coasters which looped, twisted, turned and even went upside down. Others stuck to the teacups, but it is fair to say that everyone had a wonderful day.

Tired, but satisfied, they travelled back to Torquay, stopping for McDonalds on the way. The journey took 5 hours and they arrived back at school around 7.30pm.

Georgie and Dawn would like to say once again how incredibly proud they are of everyone. They behaved impeccably, had enormous fun and were a pleasure to be with for 3 action packed days!
