So it has been just over three weeks now that our sixth form students have been at our new sixth form site at Occombe.
Everyone has settled very well into college life. We are involved in some volunteer work at Stover Park. We have been clearing a Heather meadow so that it can grow into a beautiful place for visitors to enjoy and of course support wildlife. We have joined Torbay Leisure Centre and are accessing the gym and the swimming pool. We are cooking all our own lunches and some of us are part of a maintenance and cleaning group here at our College. Joe is still coming and delivering drumming sessions and all pupils are involved in that.
Some of the pupils are having travel training. Each week they are given a challenge and they have to get to their destination using either busses or trains. This week they had to take a selfie outside the Apple shop in Exeter.
We would like to say a huge thank you to those people who renovated the building for us.
The building is wonderful and all staff and pupils love it.
