We are drawing to the end of our Spring Term, and the focus here at the College has been ‘getting out and about’, developing skills. The students have all undertaken specific Travel Training sessions. All students are being supported to use money in functional situations and I would like to thank all parents for helping this to happen by sending pupils in with spending money. As the weather gets better we will encourage all our students to access the local community more.
Next term we are planning on expanding the student’s knowledge of places within their own local community that they can access when not at College.
We have also begun our Ten Tors training for the year which is taking the students along coastal paths and using bridal ways that lead from the College into surrounding villages. They are a great group to take out and are all keen to do the main event in May.
